Some ingenious Etsy gadget maker has crafted this splendid ring that contains a working 1/8th inch jack microphone. Not the most practical gig-mic, MusicThing suggests you hack your own. I suggest foley recordists record some realistic fist-to-face SFX.

    That is pretty cool. Couldn’t they fit some kind of fm transmitter in there as well?Then you could easily hack together a really lo fi mobile phone system of an earpiece and the ring.

    Anyway, I want this ring.
