When Electrorash really like someone it’s pretty obvious isn’t it.
Without doubt one of my favourite pop tracks of this year Ellie Goulding’s ‘Under The Sheets’ has FINALLY copped an official release.
First up from Pariah comes this moody drum and bass trip.. This man’s capacity to couple a moving vocal melody AND your staple (but usually boring) DnB rhythms really excites me. His ‘Basic Space’ remix is great too – check it out

Baby Monster from the US is more playful. Love what they’ve done with the chorus – little trancey synth pads and a classic pop chord progression.
Ellie Goulding – Under The Sheets (Baby Monster Remix)
Baby Monster caused a minor blog sensation with their track ‘Ultraviolence and Beethoven’, check out the Arveene and Misk remix here on that Big Ol’ Stereo over there.
Single is out on Neon Gold today, and comes with a pretty epic Jakwob remix (it’s by the book, but good!) and a really beautiful B-Side called ‘Fighter Jets’.
But before you flip out your Visa debit card, check out this clip of Ellie performing on Later With Jools Holland earlier this month (poor girl looks nervous, but you get the idea…)
Congrats Ellie!

There’s a really pretty cover here too: http://www.myspace.com/klaussaysbuytherecord
Looks as if we’re about to experience a modern day brit invasion here in the states, with the likes of ellie, boots, diamonds, and lashes to name but a few.
This baby monster remix however, offers a glimpse of how some yankee home growns are feeding the rebirth of exciting and sometimes mesmerizing synth based songs with a gentle touch.
They’ve peeled back some of the flab to reveal a compelling story of teen angst, subtly punctuated by electro emotion.
This particular remix is pure perfection.
