The Requesters are no strangers to these pages (you can find some previous tuneage here and here), but we’re yet to devote an entire post to them. Until now. Oh me, oh my.

The Requesters are two dudes named Alex and Uri from down Barcelona way (well, at least they studied there), who have recently taken to putting out the occasional disco-electro-italo-trance-techno fusion number. Of course. They’re looking to bang out an LP towards the end of the year, but for the moment we have for your perusal one of the tracks from the album, ‘Warriors of Steel’. It’s like the partied up soundtrack to every bad 80′s teen horror film you never watched. And when it drops, it drops like a mofo. Too awesome

I’m also throwing in their self-proclaimed ‘hard to find’, yet still blogged about remix of Mendetz’s tune ‘The Boola’, because it deserves to see more of the light of day. Awesomely frenetic italo-style arpeggios over a pumping bass line, with cool little vocal stabs to further spice up the brew. It gets 9 thumbs up.
