You know that overwhelming feeling of jealousy we all get when we discover someone who is not only more talented/successful than ourselves, but who also happens to be a whole lot younger? That feeling of mediocrity? You know…? Ok, so maybe I’m being a little bit melodramatic here, (nothing wrong with a bit of sensationalism to start things off…) but hear me out. Ever since I chanced upon T.E.D.D., a group of four DJs/Producers (PieTrick, Fermez La Bouche, crotcH and Dan Tapper) hailing from the South West of London, I’ve been obsessing super-hard over their stuff. And oh god, they’re only sixteen/seventeen years old. So they aren’t even old enough to vote and they’re probably still in high school, but I can’t for the life of me get past these tracks… Jealous? Me?

If you want to see just how rad these guys are, check out Fermez La Bouche’s Klaxons remix. And yes, I know that Atlantis to Interzone has already had the CHRIST remixed out of it, but this one is so good. If I had to count how many times I’ve played it during the past few weeks, it’d probably scare the both of us. It starts off slow, fully makes you think you’re going to hate it, but then Jamie’s shrieking vocals kick things off and it’s completely phenomenal. It’s as if FLB managed to isolate that manic and surreal undercurrent that runs through everything Klaxons do, and then created a remix from it which could almost convince you that the Klaxons boys really are quite mad. I love, I love.

If I hadn’t already written too much, I’d tell you about the other two tracks as well, because they are equally as amazing, tight, and accessible, but, you know… So just check them out below and we can all be super-hyped together over the unexpected genius that is T.E.D.D.. Oh these kids are going places. And you heard it here first, ok?
