First Africa. Discovered by Radioclit in a furniture or bike shop or something like that near their studio, Esau Mwamwaya (above with Radioclit) is a Malawian native that just makes great music. He’s already recorded his album, with guest apparences from M.I.A, Santogold, Bondo De Role and parts of Vampire Weekend… he is one of those artists that has massive crossover appeal, so get on him whilst he’s hot.
I got sent this track by the guys from Bipolar Badwise the other day. Sounding like the love child of Cut Copy, Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys (which is convenient, as they list their influences as just that), they continue a trend of excellent Australian bands who all possess that signature sound. I reckon they’re bound for big things, so get them down to your party!
As a quick footnote, here’s an edit I (Plimsouls) did of Signs, by Bloc Party. I did it for a mixtape I was doing, but I figured I might as well share.
Bloc-Party - Signs (Plimsouls DJ Edit)
Much love,

great post. At first i thought that was Vin from Midnight Juggernauts on the right but after staring at it for five minutes I can see a dolphin jumping through a hoop.
Thanks.
I think that is Ettiene (sp) from Radioclit… but I think I can see the dolphin/hoop thing.
