In the first 8 bars of this track I thought I was listening to some new Midnight Juggernauts or something with that distorted as fuck guitar and the repetitive keys. And then lead singer Dan Whitford’s vocals kick in and it is all Cut Copy.
A friend of mine has already misheard the chorus as being “I’m just so horny”. In my head I like to think that was the original vocals until they realised they were to white and skinny to make it good Miami bass tracks.
The tour is going to be a big one with the group showcasing most of the expected material off of the new album as they trek around the country. It would be great to get the live recordings of every show (or even just set lists) to see how they change it up – if you get one let me know and we can work something out. Fuck it, just put it on ebay.
No final word on who will be doing the remixes off of this album or if there even is one for this track but names being thrown around include G.L.O.V.E.S. (or Damn Arms together), Miami Horror and Midnight Juggernauts. On the global stage Justice have there hands up as well as (somewhat surprisingly) Calvin Harris.

Very interesting. Haven’t formed an opinion yet, need a few more listens but I CAN say I really dig the vocal notching up an octave in the leadup to the chorus. Rocks out.
