Ok fine! I’ll post about Shook afterall! I wanted to be the first to get these tracks out, but I was preempted. Again. And not by Trash Managerie’s timely Lovestar, this time it was by Neonized Magazine. Damn Spaniards. They broke my heart. (Apologies if I’m wrong and you’re not actually Spanish.) I was deciding whether or not to go ahead with my Shook post only to find yesterday that Disco Dust had unwittingly made my mind up for me. I haven’t seen those guys put a foot wrong yet.
So Shook, the cute Dutch wunderkind producer, noticed that we post a lot of Danger over here, and citing him as one of his influences, sent us some tracks. The newest one, The Glow, makes me melt only the way a lovechild of Justice and Danger could. Imagine Danger’s looping synth line punctuated with Justice’s signature slap bass effect and you’re getting pretty close to the Glow experience. I would put the other two tracks up here, but I think The Glow deserves the spotlight, so you can skip on over to your choice of Neonized or Disco Dust to pick them up.
