In the lead up to the UK release of Shinichi Osawa’s “The One” we are going to be featuring exclusive video content every week for the next 7 weeks.
The first video is for Shinichi’s cover of the Chemical Brothers “Star Guitar” featuring the vocals of Au Revoir Simone. The clip features a montage of shots of hot girls repeating into the foreground. Kind of reminds me of the “My People” clip Krozm did for the Presets…
You have to watch until at least 2:33 to catch the sickeningly sweet Au Revoir Simone girls melt your heart. This is the first and only time I want to use the word “dreamy”.

I’m going to Japan in a month and I really wanna see him play live somewhere! but he doesn’t seem to have any gigs listed anywhere, i feel like i wanna go find out where he lives in tokyo, knock on his door and be like “hey man! put down the book! come out and DJ tonight!” man he could put on a CD in his lounge room and i’d probably still have a good time.
Shinichi puts out some good stuff but he really shoulda left this one alone…original kills it
