Shadow Dancer is a name that not that many people in Australia are familiar with but who has been rocking the party across Europe for a while now.
The Manchester based duo are signed to Boys Noize Records whose motto is probably “the home of the banger”. Their recently released “Cowboiz” E.P. was described by Bigstereo as “one of those records you’re gonna end up hearing everywhere” and the Dolby Anol remix as “perfect.”
The two brothers who make up Shadow Dancer have also done a stack of remixes for the likes of The Teenagers, fellow Manchurians (is that right?) The Whip as well as an upcoming remix of the Faint’s “The Geeks Were Right” which I am really looking forward to hearing.
Shadow Dancer are starting their Australian tour this Saturday night in Melbourne and then Sydney and Brisbane next weekend.
