Ex-DFA79 frontman, Sebastien Grainger, has been quietly active of late. We’ve already heard about his appearance on DatA’s upcoming single, Rapture, and now Grainger has just released his debut 7″, American Names, via his solo project, Sebastien Grainger & Les Montagnes. It features four tracks: Epilogue (Somewhere Over The Hobo), Ways To Come Home (the demo of which has been floating around forever), Map of the World, and of course, American Names. Each track is absolutely gorgeous, particularly the piano-laden Map of the World. You can pick this 7″ up here, and keep those ears to the ground for news about his upcoming debut LP.
