Redial Ghost EP

“Who the fuck is this kid?” was the first thing I said when I saw Redial play in Sydney a while ago. As much as this question appears to spring from disgust, it was actually out of awe, because this guy is a sharp producer. He’s had recommendations from the likes of Nicky Van She, JFK and Danger, and holds a coverted spot on Ajax’s Sweat It Out roster, along with other local favourites such as Miami Horror and Gameboy Gamegirl. He’s just released his debut EP, Ghost, last Saturday, and it has that eerily dark and swirling synth-laden quality we’ve been seeing a lot of new producers embrace at the moment. He’s also remixed my favourite Siberian, Eclier, so he gets lots of bonus points from me.

He’s having his official EP launch this Saturday at Trashbags in Sydney, (Plantation) so be sure to check him out there. I would go, only I’m spending this week’s alcohol money on a vacuum cleaner. Sigh. Pick up the Ghost EP at Beatport now.

you know, i definitely think that cleanliness is better than fun. definitely. you can make your saturday night into a mary poppins recreation evening, but updated so that mary poppins has a vacuum cleaner and does all the work by herself. oh the joy of it all.
