So former Ladytron bassist and Beck’s slightly less edgy unofficial little brother, (Jonathon) Pop Levi, is releasing a new album soon, entitled Never Never Love, and he’s recruited Californian electronic duo, Pink Enemy, to remix both the title track and the lead single, Dita Dimone. Surprising, since in this day and age everyone is remixing all over the place so it’s pretty rare for one act to score two major remix opportunities on the one release, especially when that act is not terribly well-known. That said, Pink Enemy have turned out to be an excellent choice on Mr Levi’s part, particularly as he seems to be leaning more towards an electronically-influenced vibe for his new album, trading in the unadulterated seventies glam-rock of his 2007 debut, The Return To Form Black Magick Party, for sex-fuelled electro-pop. With extra sex. This sophomore album is going to be huge. The Never Never Love single was released by Counter/Ninja Tune Records on Monday in 7” and digital form.

Man do I live under a freaking rock? I saw the similarity but never realised that this was Beck’s brother.
Hehe ummm, you do realise I was joking, right…?
