The dates and lineup for this years Parklife festival have just been announced and it looks fantastic. Probably the best Australian festival lineup that I have seen for a long time and perhaps a good reason for me to start liking festivals again.

This weekend, here in Barcelona, Spain, we have the SONAR festival… Programmation is also awesome with Justice, Goldfrapp, Buzy P, Soulwax, Miss Kittin, Dj Mehdi, SebastiAn and lot of more… And i have the Press Accreditation!!!! I know you’re jalous!!

i still hold up the SMD set in december 2006 as one of the best electronic experiences of my life. then again, it was 4 am at fabric. my objective faculties may have been diminished… but seriously, plump djs, soulwax/2manydjs, dizzee, solveig, diplo jesse rose, DIOYY, blackaklicious, yuksek, boy 8-bit, dragonette, VST, slyde (finger lickin’ stablemates with plump djs) - it is shaping up to be pretty sweet. is there a venue yet?

Albert - personally I am kind of over Van She. The new tracks haven’t really wowed me and they seem to be playing here every 2 months or so. It would be like highlighting Ajax or Grafton Primary. This one is all about the internationals and seeing Bagraiders play their live show.
Van She Tech could be cool though, I haven’t seen the guys DJ for a while and I remember going crazy to them a couple of years back in Perth.
are metro area playing live? that would rule. although i’m sure they’re beasts on the selection too.

And I can advise you Soulwax as well, that are the same guys as 2manydj’s (2 belgian brothers) if they play their Night versions - set.

Woekemann - I caught Nightmoves and 2manyDJ’s last year with New Young Pony Club. It was pretty awesome though I didn’t have the best night personally. I’ll be interested to see what the Soulwax show is like though.

turns out that apparently one of them never leaves the US so they other guy goes o/s and dj’s. so no live show.
