Ooh-ee is another amazing DJ and producer from Melbourne. I first saw him a few years ago at the Rosemount hotel in Perth where he played with DMC champion Dexter and Dexter’s brother Kuya. It was a pretty awesome show.

Now that I’m living east side I can catch him a couple of times a week at Streetparty or Eurotrash. He’s great live but it’s his remixes that I really care about. In the context of a DJ set they are always solid gold.

First it was Riot In Belgiums “La Musique” (with Loot) then Gameboy/Gamegirls “Pumps and Rumps” (reportedly the least liked track on the e.p. for most people, the most like for me). And now he’s brought the same vibe to my wife of a few weeks ago Santogold.

Bonus track:

Teki Latex – Invitation To Ooh Wee

You can catch Ooh-ee supporting Kid Cudi at Roxanne on the 4th of July.
