This is what happens when you take a break from blogging over the holidays and sit on a few tracks for too long. The dear folks at Valerie well and truly beat you to it. And then those tracks spread all over the goddamn place, such as here and then over here. But regardless, here they are once more, from Leeds’ Edwin Van Cleef. He’s produced a couple of surging, bubbly originals, as well as a new mix (holy shit, two in one day!) which he’s filled with the works of those delightful Valerie favourites such as Fear of Tigers, Miami Horror and Anoraak. I’m fully taking this to the beach with me this Sunday as part of my post-Festival First Night healing process.
