So Cut Copy have released some new merchandise ahead of the release of their second single off of their long awaited album (due out in Feb 07). There are reprints of “Stereo” design shirts as seen at this year’s big day out as well as a new “Cutters” shirt and a “Hearts On Fire” shirt.
What surprises me about this whole thing is that they still have come of the Claude Maus shirts available which came out at the start of this year. They were limited to 90 shirts (apparently) and I jumped on them within minutes of Hearts On Fire coming out - there must be about 10 different people that I know who own these. Maybe I should stop hanging out with so many “Cut Copy obsessives” as they have been referred to.
Anyway jump on that shit before it sells out at cutcopy.net.
I was going to post the dj.dtar unsanctioned edit of Hearts On Fire here but it is total rubbish. He has basically thrown a shitty intro onto the radio edit. Get it on vinyl!

WARNING - when you buy the Claude Maus shirts they ARE tight fitting. the word gets bandied about in men’s fashion so much i disregarded this and bought my standard Medium shirt.
Months of trying to slim down to not look completly ridiculous in this shirt were to no avail and i had to pass it on. Now large is sold out. this is a PSA for you all! I suggest going 1 size up from your standard. Or buy similar to what you would if you were buying Industrie. Sorry to sprout of another brand but they’re the only ones i know with a smaller fit.
Mine was a little tight at first but it has come in now. You might have to wait on ebay for a while to get one but it will come up eventually. I just missed out on getting one of the “Cold Youth” tshirts from Big Day Out…
Some drunk guy came up to me at a bar to tell me he printed all the Claude Maus stuff at his screen printing shop in Carlton.

Ah sweet. Carlton is very far away from me but, like 1200ks, so i think i’ll visit my friend Ebay if i need to find a large.
Believe me, i tried and tried to get this to come out a bit, but it was ridiculously small. It made it look like i’d shopped in the kids section for tees. not pretty.
That or go with one of their other tees. The Hearts on Fire tee looks pretty sweet.
I just bought the shirt you have pictured. Awesome. Electrorash should have some sort of marketing deal with Cut Copy - theres no telling how many of their products I’ll buy after reading this blog…
I bought another shirt. Not the limited Maus one, but the one with the heads and the laserz(well they look like lasers) and the colours.
It’s all grey and not black like i was expecting, but it’s cool because it fits like a dream and is probably one of the best fibres of a merch i’ve seen to date.
Sweet as. I just lashed out on a whole heap of dasmonk.com stuff so am giving it a rest for a while. And I anticipate some great stuff coming out of the Daft Punk tour too.
