Nakashi, say hello! This is Nakashi, he is from Berlin and he makes music that is pleasing to his ears. Coincidently, they are also pleasing to mine and so i asked him to send me a couple of track that we could post, he said yes. However this was delayed due to his camping trip through France last month, I love camping and this just made me want to hear this happy campers music even more! We need more camping disco’s, disco campers and camp disco’s! Ok, so I’ve mentioned camping more times than my family looking forward to a bush Christmas, onto the music.
Nakoshi has that filtery sun drenched sound I really adore, the first track New Attack has a beautifully funky first half which I must admit I enjoy more than the second half of the song when the distortion kicks in (although it does sound like its been run through a big muff pedal which I like, long live Hendrix!). The second track though is my favorite, Sun 4am is exactly as the name suggests, something to play just as the sun comes up at 4am of a morning and by this stage of a night/morning I’m just a sucker for that kind of track.
This is fucking amazing. Playing tommorow for sure.
