Motorola have partnered with a lot of people to promote their phones, especially the RAZR. They even have Kanye West turning down a B&O in favour of a RAZR.

Now, I really dig Kitsune. It was their first two compilations that really turned me onto indie-dance and electro in a big way after a mate passed on a burnt copy. But I am not so sure that I would take my fandom as far as to get a Kitsune mobile phone. Especially when I have my eyes on the N95, the iPhone (natch) or one of these bad boys.

That said the Kitsune phone comes with some cool shit like the entire Kitsune Maison 5 compilation, wallpapers (yawn) and an unreleased (so far) Cazals remix. I really want to know what this damn remix is, fingers crossed it is something from most excellent producers La Mode. And when people ask you about your phone you can tell them it is from a relatively obscure record label in France.

As part of the release Kitsune are doing a tour of Europe starting with Digitalism headlining a show yesterday in Paris, then onto Lyon, Bordeaux and Toulouse… Wait a second! This isn’t a European tour at all, it’s a tour of France! Gildas and Masaya (aka Kitsune), AutoKratz, Guns N Bombs and the industrious David E Sugar will be present for all dates.
