So here’s that post I promised way back here. We finally have a glimpse into the new Toxic Avenger EP, which is set to be released very soon on Julien Minet’s Boxon Records. The four-track EP includes the feature track, Bad Girls Need Love Too, with remixes by Léonard de Léonard and Les petits pilous, and the mischievously titled, __________.
I used to wonder how The Toxic Avenger would fare in the climate of The Banger Backlash of 2008, but I think he’ll be alright. Hey, I just said Banger. I guess I can cross that off my list of things I can’t say. Now all I need to do is conquer Bibliography, which I’m physically incapable to saying, but for completely different reasons. I’ll just have to stick to ‘reference list’ for now.

also, am i the only person that feels toxic avenger sucks a bit?
I think there is a backlash for sure. People are still making them, playing them and blogging them but there are also a lot of people who are no longer/never were “all about the bangers”.
Not into Toxic Avenger personally but then I’ve never been one for the banger
i think i’ve kinda done my banger time. there was a period where i was a bit apeshit over everything bloody beetroots, but it’s all subsided a little now. there’s far more interesting and satisfying stuff out there.
