Landmark – Save Rock

Good lord, it’s hard to find information about Landmark. I don’t even know his real name. But what I do know is he’s Italian, and has recently released a six-track EP, Save Rock, on Tambour Records (about which I am, regrettably, just as clueless). The featured F’Myos provides some insight via his Myspace page, but really only that he counts James Murphy as a major influence, which is particularly obvious in Save Rock, their punchy little dance-punk-like collaboration with the highly addictive funk-inspired bassline, and that Landmark sort of looks like this kid who borrowed all my RATM cd’s like eight years ago and never returned them (I will never forget!).

We would all do well to keep an eye on these two. Be sure to secure a copy of the EP from Beatport (and the like) now.
