‘Do you like Kisses‘ – I asked some bro this question in da clurb the other week and he was like ‘LOL whut!’. It was a short conversation.
The Kisses I refer to are an LA babe/bro duo who have wantonly pursued, captured and held for ransom my heart with their debut album ‘Heart Of The Nightlife’. Can I describe them without using the words ‘dreamy’, ‘synth’ and ‘pop’? Not really, for I am hungover and struggling lexicologically… but this is the dreamiest of the poppiest of the synthiest dreamy synth pop going around. Don’t sleep on it. Heart Of The Nightlife hits Australia on the 19th November, featuring some spectacular bonus remixes from Hot Chip, Active Child and Pete Wiggs of Saint Etienne fame… the later is a sublime jam.
