Ok so this isn’t really a Fabric Live mix but it could have been.
So here’s the story: Fabric ask Justice to put together a mix compilation for their popular Fabric Live series. They would have been following in the footsteps of the most excellent Cut Copy and Spank Rock mixes. So Justice decided to put together something a little different, something that would stand out from the crowd instead of just another fucking mixtape featuring all of the songs we have heard a billion times in the last 6 months.
“We didn’t want to do just another boring mix, so we put together a selection of tunes we absolutely love, mainly weird disco tracks and French novelty acts. But Fabric turned it down. They weren’t ready for something like this. Maybe we’ll put the mix out ourselves. People should really hear it, they’d be surprised.” – Xavier de Rosnay
So they released the mix themselves and dubbed it the Xmas mix. And here it is. Enjoy it, it is ten times better than you will ever be.

One of the best justice mixes ever. Pure proof that you don’t need brand new fresh tracks to blow everyone’s mind.
Congrats on the blog, the best electro, house, indie blog ever
It wasn’t as simple as that though innit. Fabric have let plenty of more ‘ecletic’ mixes from artists get released by them and I’m sure they would’ve done the same with Justice’s. Fact is it was too short a mix and Justice were too stubborn to make it longer. I dunno about anyone else but I’d be pissed off paying £12 for a 45 minute mix. Oh well, we get a free mix as a result. Everybody wins
Well said Frank Bruno!
We should really be thankful for Fabric – not only do we get the Justice mix for free but now we also get the outrageous Craze Fabric Live as well.
Thank you Fabric!
Thanks Hiperbato! We aim to please
I hope this is not much to ask, but could you post the tracklist, if possible?
If you don’t have it, don’t bother to get, I don’t want trouble you. But if by any chance you have it…
How do i download this mix onto my computer or is not possible
No worries
To download just right click and then press “Save Target as” and save it on your desktop
Thanks alot nek, you’re the MAN
This is one fine mix. I would buy this mix if it got released on fabric. No doubt about it, but since it’s free, why not?
Hey, the link seems to no longer work…would anybody be willing to send it to me? I’d be very grateful!!
