We haven’t mentioned anyone from the Bordeaux electro circle here for a while, so I guess that means it’s time to visit one of my favourites, who for some reason I haven’t posted about before, Julien Milan. The 25-year-old Bordeaux native made his live debut four years ago in London, and last year signed to Julien Minet’s bourgeoning label, Boxon Records. His latest project is a remix of Taken Away for Digitalism’s recently-closed remix competition, and it’s amazing. But until the competition winners are announced, Milan is keeping that puppy well and truly tethered to his Myspace page. So you can pop over there now and pet it if you like. Or just listen to it, I don’t care. And fortunately Milan is lovely, so he’s sent us some other remixes in a downloadable format to further tide us over.
