Belgian trio, The Subs, are set to release My Punk as the second single from their debut album, Subculture, (which you can read about here) in a couple of weeks’ time, and it will feature a reciprocal remix from Alex Gopher, and one from Ottowa duo, Jokers Of The Scene. Judging from the remixes preview on The Subs’ Myspace page, this will be a great release. The JOTS remix takes the more robust original and stretches it out to a dancefloor-friendly eight minute rollick, which climbs out of momentary deep-base lulls with wonderful build-ups which will no doubt be some major crowd-pleasers.
The single will be out on February 9th, so visit Belgian label, Lektroluv Records’ site then to pick up a copy.

these guys put on the WORST show. just peeped them and Treasure Fingers last Sat. HORRIBLE. Build ups to nothing….. hoochies dancing on stage….. sick. I know KIDS that throw down a better mix, but hey… wait till they creep to your town… and you waste time and money on a shitty shitty show. p.s. TF was just as bad.
Actually…saw them in Vancouver the night before and it was possibly one of the best sets I’ve ever seen, and 1000 other people were going just as nuts as I was…
