I have an undying love for Snoop Dogg, and not even my severe disappointment with Sexual Seduction could touch this undying love. In the case of Johnny Cash my love is considerably less undying, but when my little brother gave me my beloved PYE record player, he thought he’d better put something in it, so Johnny Cash it was, and that’s what I’ll end up playing whenever I can’t be bothered (ie often) to unsheathe something else. Yes, I am the lamest Cash fan ever - I know all the words by accident.
The much talked-about Johnny Cash remix album is being released on vinyl on September 23rd, and everywhere else on October 14th via Compadre Records/Music World Music. A risky venture perhaps, but the only track I’ve absolutely had to skip was the Wolf remix of Rock Island Line, so 1 out of 13 ain’t bad. Actually those odds are pretty awesome. Remixers include Apparat, Count de Money, and the lovely Midnight Juggernauts, whose remix of Port of Lonely Hearts is flawless. Visit Palms Out to pick that one up.
Johnny Cash/Snoop Dogg - I Walk the Line [QDT Muzic Remix]

Love the track man. Thanks!
This is extra awful. Johnny would not approve.
His relatives might be better at judging that:
“My father made his stead by defying the expected and accepted way of things,” says John Carter Cash, son of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash and Executive Producer of the Academy Award-winning film “Walk the Line.” “He set the standard at the same time. He would have loved this remix record. While it stays true to the original recordings, this CD touches on undiscovered ground. This is what my father was about: staying true to tradition while creating groundbreaking new music.”
This truly sucks ass. It’s not even in tune.
