Ok so it took me a while to get around to writing this, but whatever. Just over a week ago Trash Fashion released their follow-up EP to THE cult classic, It’s A Rave Dave. The new one features the track Mom & Daddy, and while I have to admit I did fear for the boys, having to come up with something awesome after the sheer brilliance that is Rave Dave, I’m happy to say that Trash Fashion is not a one trick pony. Mom & Daddy is all kinds of radical. A little creepy at times with the whole, “shake your body if you love your mom and daddy,” thing, but anyway… The remixes are great too, Jet Storm’s remix gets kinda manic and Toxic Avenger-esque at times, which means I’m right into it. Makes me want to dance. HARD.
Have a listen to it and the other remixes below. I especially enjoy the JE2 Grade 8 ‘It’s a motherfucking rave Dave; effort. AND if you haven’t seen the clip (gasp!) please do. It’s a proper nice fun-filled adventure for nu-rave scensters and nu-rave-scenster-haters alike
