I really digged Calvin Harris’ debut album but when I saw the live show it felt a little… overproduced. The live show turned me off of some of the music a little but listening back to it today I can’t wait for the next album.
Then Tuesday I got my hands on all the tracks off of the new Hearts On Fire 12″ coming out through Modular on July 4. I was genuinely surprised to see a Calvin Harris remix in there alongside Knightlife, Midnight Juggernauts and Holy Ghost!
And it’s actually good.
This is the kind of music I am really into now and I know a few people have called this mediocre already but I just dig it. So here it is.
