The 80′s are alive and trapped in the Heartbreak of London.
This disco revival duo is led by frontman Sebastian Muravchix and Ali Renault on keys. I think what grabbed me about these guys is how genuine the keys and vocals would sound in an 80′s setting. Now wave? Popjustice disgustingly describe their sound as “new Italotronica” which just made me do a vomit in my mouth.
Like a lot of the stuff I am loving lately heartbreak came to me randomly through my play list thanks to downloading the track earlier from Get Weird, Turn Pro. I checked out the last.fm video on their myspace page and loved it even more. My new gay husband? Does Electrorash believeingaymarriage?
The exciting thing about these guys for me is that I get the chance to see and hear this music live, something I never thought I would be able to do without Michael J Fox. And he’s got Parkinsons.
Recently signed to independent Lex Records in April and a full tour schedule mean this is not the last you’ve heard from the temporally challenged duo.
