Happy Mothers Day

It’s Mothers Day today and I officially lose at Mothers Day. Every year it is pretty much the same, I either forget a present or I forget a card and have to do some kind of last minute thing that is always soooo obvious it was last minute.

Like last year when I didn’t have any wrapping paper so I wrapped the present in newspaper and then spray painted a crappy stencil over the top.

Or the year before when I made a card out of a palm card from a presentation I had to do the week before for work.

This year I remembered the present and had a really nice card (thank you Borders) but I totally got the time and venue wrong. I suggested a restaurant down the street for me and was heading down there for 1 (though I was running late) when I realised that the restaurant was closed on Sundays. And my phone was out of battery. I kept walking down the street and eventually found everyone at a different place but guess what? We were supposed to meet at midday, not 1. Yeah, I know!

So Happy Mothers Day mum. I think you’ll like this song, it was on the ad for ipod. Just right click the link below and select “save target as”. When it’s finished downloading just double click the file on your desktop.

Feist – 1 2 3 4

Don’t download this one though, I don’t think it is really your style but I like it. It’s a bit dancier I guess.

Feist – 1234 (My! Gay! Husband! edit)
