The sideshows for Australia’s massive summer festival Good Vibrations have been announced!

The Rapture and Calvin Harris will be both be playing sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne on separate dates. While this is great news for fans of both acts it must hurt to be in Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide.

For me what hurts is that Kon the Louis Vuitton Don (aka Kanye West) isn’t doing any side shows. I hope something more comes of this because while I have ragged him in the past I actually respect the guy.

Calvin Harris will definitely be a must see side show. He is not only a talented and interesting musician with a killer debut album but Melbourne’s own Gameboy/Gamegirl will be joining him on stage in support. With lines like “shoes are what your moneys for/booty’s what my dick is for” and production work from Miami Horror these guys are crazy good.

Tickets for these side shows go on sale Thursday the 13th of December.
