Well I don’t know who they are nor where they’ve come from (figuratively speaking. Literally they’re from Britain), but for a band who only has a handful of listens on Last.Fm and who seem to not even have a Myspace page (as far as I can tell), it’s pretty impressive that they’ve already been remixed by Fred Falke AND Lifelike. I’d insinuate that they’re probably sleeping together if it wasn’t for the fact that The Energies actually sound kind of amazing.
This is what all new bands should aspire to: before you even think about throwing together some shitty Myspace page, negotiate your way into a remix deal with a couple of extremely talented producers and you’ll have more street cred than you know what to do with before people even know who you are. Well played, The Energies, well played.

But seriously I was wondering if these might be fake. I mean the website is slick and they kind of sound like Lifelike and Falke remixes but it just seems weird. They don’t even have a release announced. And their myspace has a weird collection of top friends and no ability to post comments.
Am I too cynical or are y’all too gullible? No doubt answers will come soon and I will look like a dick…
