Frontier Touring have just announced that they are moving the MGMT Melbourne and Sydney shows to larger venues to try to meet some of the demand. Sydney will be moving to the Hordern Pavillion and Melbourne is moving to Festival Hall.

The new batch of tickets go on sale on September 5th at 9am through ticketek in Sydney and ticketmaster in Sydney.

Considering that last time tickets sold out in 10 seconds for each date I am not holding out much hope of getting some in the next allocation but I will give it a shot.

Who’s in?

Oh my god, I heard rumours about this. My friend will be stoked. Having said that, this is the same friend who was logged on to three different computers at 9am sharp for Splendour tickets and still got nothing. She’s going to end up in Perth for sure.

I really really really love MGMT.

But I saw them at Glastonbury and they were, erm, a bit rubbish.

They a karaoke version of Kids at the end, ffs.

Hey, I’m a high school student, and I was looking to use this picture for a student magazine. I love listening to MGMT, and I was going to use this picture as an alternative story form to promote an upcoming concert in Austin, TX. Could you email me back please with info? Thanks a lot.
