So today marks the first show for Electrorash over at TheHype.fm. It’s pretty exciting for us because we’ve been trying to get something going for a while now and we’re really happy with how this has turned out.

TheHype.fm is a new internet radio station where you can hear some pretty great music 24 hours a day streaming over the internet. There is a general broadcast and several other blogs are contributing shows once a week including Discobelle, Big Stereo, Discodust and Curb Crawlers.

Expect to hear a radio format show with guest interviews and weekly guest mixes. We’ll be playing whatever grabs out fancy from the week before including a bunch of stuff we can’t blog here yet but can play on the radio.

Next week’s show includes an interview with Stefan from Belgium duo Aeroplane who dropped by the studio last week. It was a heap of fun and he dropped a couple of bombs including that he only likes musicians with beards and that Soulwax is producing the Aeroplane album due out in March 2009.

That’s right, you heard it here first: Soulwax are producing Aeroplanes album!!!

Tune in at 12pm EST to hear the show which will be replayed at 12am every Wednesday and which will also be available for download at a later date.
