Delorean Gets Their Remix On

Delorean

You may remember Spanish electro-rockers Delorean from this post. If you don’t and are too lazy to click through that link (there’s hidden treasure on the other side, I promise), then as a brief summary, Delorean = awesome. And as true testament to that fact, here’s an absolutely gorgeous remix they’ve just completed of the Mystery Jets’ ‘Half in Love With Elizabeth’. Picking up where their remix of the Teenager’s ‘Love No’ left off, this takes the new wave jaunt of the original and turns it into the sort of sunny, nostalgic, piano-laden number you want to be listening to the morning after, as you look out the car window on the drive home from the best night of your life. Yeah, exactly like that. Also, and 12 hours previous, the breakdown is totally the point in the evening when you’d lean in for that first kiss. So lovely.

Mystery Jets - Half in Love with Elizabeth (Delorean Remix)

Delorean finally seem to be getting the attention they deserve and it sounds like their next album, due for release towards the end of the year, is being put out on the mighty Fluokids’ new label Fool House. I’m so excited I’ve started emitting a high-pitched humming sound. That’s going to get ear shattering by the time the album drops.
