Let me share with you the discovery that pretty much made my day yesterday. And oh look, it’s another wolf. This one is young Washington-based DJ/Producer, David Wolf and I’m obsessing over his stuff super-hard right now. Like, if I ever come back in another life as a song, I wouldn’t mind being remixed by him. (Does anyone else think that sounded a bit sexual? I swear I didn’t mean it to. Damn.) ANYWAY, check out his remixes below, and skip on over to Vice Records to pick up his free Chromeo Bonafied Lovin’ remix. Wolf’s original stuff is also very rad, his track, Nervous, is awesome and I just love what fellow Washington residents, Handshakes, have done with it. Nervous (About Your Boat) is my new favourite song of the week.
Nervous is also a favourite of the male half of electrothrash royalty, Crystal Castles, who layers the vocals of Air War over it and keeps it on high rotation whenever he does his DJ thing. And apparently that fascinating little creation will feature as the B-Side remix of Air War when Crystal Castles officially release it, which Wolf has promised to send over to us as soon as he gets the all-clear. All I have to say about that is… !!!
