  So here's another one of those bands who inexplicably enjoy very little hype (machine or otherwise) and yet are so ridiculously likable it seems like such a shame. Flashguns are a charming four-piece band from Brighton whom I'd venture to suggest sound like a young Mystery Jets, only this time no one's dad is hanging out playing rhythm guitar and killing all opportunity to create any "what happens on tour stays on tour" fodder.   CSS Go Donkey

  I must admit, I kinda missed the CSS bandwagon when it first rolled through town. Of course I was au fait with the obvious singles, and my library is peppered with any number of variable quality remixes of 'Let's Make Love...", but I was never entirely convinced that there was much flesh to their albums proper.   The Rascals - Rascalize

  Well it's set to be released internationally tomorrow, but The Rascals' Rascalize was leaked about a month ago and it's been oozing all over the place ever since.   Love is All Do Covers

  Following on from the two-and-a-half-years-late 'Nine Times That Same Song' remix album (previously profiled here), Swedish lo-fi rockers Love is All continue to dribble out small tasters in the lead-up to the still unannounced autumn (our spring) release of their second album. This time through they handed out a bunch of self-recorded CDRs at some of their gigs in May, which featured the band playing five covers, one chosen by each member. We've already heard about his appearance on DatA's upcoming single, Rapture, and now Grainger has just released his debut 7", American Names, via his solo project, Sebastien Grainger & Les Montagnes.
