Introducing one of the next big things to come from England. This 5 piece band, from London, is one of the hottest young acts floating around the british indie scene at the moment. They’ve released just two singles, with the anticipated debut album due next Australian winter. With elements of the Go! Team, and maybe even influences from bands such as Larrikin Love, Mystery Jets and the Arcade Fire, Cajun Dance Party look to be heating things up for the coming British christmas.

From the countdown in the track provided, ‘Amylase’, this song rambles on in a hecktik cloud of confusion. For their age (all still in high school) everything about this song shows real promise of an original band with catchy tunes to produce a wicked album.

Anyone who compares these young Londoners to ping pong idiots, Operator Please will not be my myspace friend.
