Sebastian Ingrosso scares me. Not sure why, maybe because he’s so epic. Steve Angello I’m ok with, not because he isn’t epic, but I could probably have him over for dinner no problems. Sebastian though? I think I’d run away. Which is why running into Buy Now, the pair of Swedish house legends combined, would be a fairly confusing exercise for me. (This isn’t a lead-up to an interview, I’m just saying…)
Their 2005 track with the beautifully relevant title, For Sale, has recently been kicked lovingly around the blogs, most notably Missing Toof and Panda Toes, as the announcement that a brand new single, Body Crash, will be released early this year. And I hear the crazy house nerds rejoice. So rather fortunate we were when Sydney-based DJ, ORNorTON, sent us this little nugget of entertainment to maintain our Buy Now-related excitment until then. Oh the lashings of Basement Jaxx, oh the hint of Klaxons, oh that entire rambunctious electro/house adventure that ebs and flows itself into oblivion while I’m in the kitchen making Angello’s hor dourves. It’s like those Daft Punk vocals are having a fantastic battle with the Buy Now bassline that I find myself a little bit obsessed with. Oh…play it loud.
