Electrorash

Some prime stuff dropped on the doorstep of Electrorash Palms this morning.

First up, Noah and the Whale.. my only engagement with these characters has been through that cutesy track about having Fun Fun Fun in the Sun or whatever.

Well, they’ve dropped two remixes our way from serial-pest Death to the Throne and Yacht. They’re both a bit of fun, D2T (like that?) on an unusually ambient electro tip, Yacht taking the post-merriweather-disco approach. See what you think.

D.Ramirez. Did you know he used to be a hairdresser? I don’t think he’s ever going to top that Bodyrox remix he did many moons ago (the dub WITHOUT the appalling vocals that sounded like mating possums on a chalkboard). This isn’t too bad though. Some nice, bellowing bass over a cruising beat. Tech heads could probably find a slot for it in their rekkid bags.

Hot Pink Delorean, one of the founding fathers of blog-hause, takes on Basshunter. We’ll never know why, and in ten years time when Basshunter hopefully dies of a bumsex related injury people will flick through his litany of crimes on Discogs, see HPD, and feel bemused.
