At the end of March we ran a remix competition in association with Universal and Nova 937 for the Dukes of Windsor’s track “Runaway”.

A lot of entries ended up coming in; some great, some not so great and a few fucking amazing ones but overall the standard was very high.

The Dukes have now crowned a winner and it is Jackson & Perry with their trance take on the indie original.

Jackson & Perry are a DJ/Production crew from Perth, Western Australia recently signed to Trancetribe Recordings. While I’m not a big trance person myself I like what they’ve done with the track as well as their originals – check out “Waterdrops” on their Myspace.

Dukes of Windsor – Runaway (Jackson & Perry remix)

There have to be honorable mentions in this comp, too much effort was put in by too many people with great results to let them go without credit.

My personal favourites include the “Touche“, Hundreds and Thousands and the Quick Fix DJ’s versions. Check them out!
