Erm, Plimsouls. One or two of you might know me from my little forays into production/remixing. If you don’t, you’re missing out (I’d like to think); hit me up. I’ve also just started a blog, Techno Jihad. Ned got wind of it’s total freaking awesomeness, and asked me if I’d fancy doing the odd post for Electrorash… I said yes (of course) and here we are. Hopefully I’ll post some tracks you like, and we can be friends forever.
The first people I’d like to introduce to you are Twocker. Whilst not completely unknown, Twocker really don’t get the respect they deserve. Doing that London House sound that has been so so hot recently and doing it well is a bit of a rarity to be honest; there about 10 people that do it right, on my last count. Twocker definitely do. I’ve been banging this one out in my sets recently, it’s fantastic. Its a 128kbs link, so if you like it, buy it.

And to finish off, I’d like to take it down a notch and post some Laura Marling. She’s a Mercury nominated songstress, getting reasonably well know over here in the UK, and rightly so. She’s a massively talented girl, and at 18 shes got a bright future ahead of her. I’ve been into her music on and off for what seems like ages now (we shared some management stuff for a bit), and it’s nice to see her get the attention she deserves. She tours incessantly, so if she makes it over to somewhere near you I’d go and check her out, sharpish.

More soon,

yay! good to have you here. twock on!
Oh is twock a verb now?
Nice post, Matt!
i think the beauty of twock is that it can be whatever you want it to be…
…Can it be kittens…?
sure. kitten on plimsouls. kitten on.
Laura Marling is twockin’. Or is it kittenin’? whatever, shes good.
Hello!
Twocker is a verb… to twoc is to Take WithOut Consent (i.e. steal), so a Twocker is a theif, basically.
Its also used to describe Chavs, a wonderful subclass of British society. I’m not sure if you have chavs in Australia, but this picture sums them up nicely

I think I would prefer it if it meant kittens.
We call them bogans. They drive utes, smoke “Winnie’s”, drink VB and wear tracksuits.
I am going to start using the word twock in regular conversation though.
That sounds about right.
Laura Marling is a twocker… she has twocked my heart… or maybe just my ears.
